The 2025 Aquatics GB Diving Championships took place at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre between 5-8 June, as – for the second year in a row – the world-class venue provided the backdrop for a gripping four days of competition.

This year’s event played a key role towards the selection of the 14-strong diving team for Great Britain, which will head to Singapore later this summer in search of more successes in the World Championships.

Maisie Bond and Euan McCabe won their first-ever senior individual platform British titles, while there were also gold medals for Jack Laugher with Anthony Harding and Scarlet Mew Jensen alongside Yasmin Harper in the 3m synchro events.

The Sandwell Aquatics Centre was the only brand-new venue built for Birmingham 2022, staging more medal moments than anywhere else during the Commonwealth Games. The state-of-the-art venue has a 50m Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 10m high dive tower and a 25m dive pool, as well as a host of sport and exercise facilities for everyone in the community.

The West Midlands is the home of sport in the UK, with a fantastic summer events calendar for fans to enjoy, including the England-India Test Match at Edgbaston Stadium (2-5 July); the UK Athletics Championships at the Alexander Stadium (2-3 August); and the Betfred British Masters at the Belfry (21-24 August).
