I work in the field of air pollution, a matter of local, national and international importance, with research carried out across the world. Air pollution not only affects human health, but also impacts upon visibility and the climate. At the University of Birmingham, we conduct world-leading research into air quality in places as diverse as Antarctica and Delhi, and benefit greatly from our global collaborations and sharing our findings with other researchers and diverse stakeholders. We greatly value the opportunity both to promote our research and to champion the West Midlands region through the opportunities offered by the Conference Ambassador Network.
