I led the team who brought the 22 European Congress of Herpetology to the University of Wolverhampton in September 2023. The World Congress of Herpetology has not been held in the UK since September 1989 when the University of Kent at Canterbury hosted the 1 WCH. I would certainly like to see the WCH return to the UK, preferably the West Midlands region and I would give such a bid all the support I could.
