I am delighted to join the West Midlands Conference Ambassador Network and support efforts to position our region as a leading destination for knowledge exchange and academic collaboration. Birmingham and the wider West Midlands region have a rich history of innovation across the built environment, digital technologies, and sustainable development. Through bringing national and international events to the region, we can showcase our research excellence, foster new partnerships, and create valuable opportunities for academics, industry leaders, and communities. This aligns strongly with Birmingham City University’s 2030 Vision, where we aim to develop talent for tomorrow, create knowledge for good, and power prosperity through innovation and collaboration.
