Corona has shown us how important the in-person, face-2-face contact between humans really is. At the same time however conferences around the world have become pricier. For people, hence, it is important to prioritise.  

I’m honoured to be part of the West Midlands Conference Ambassador Network. This is an additional layer of informal knowledge networks that could just make the difference to bring an event into the region, or not.

The region offers fantastic conference locations, that might not be known to national or international organising committees. Among many other aspects, I hope to get out of this network.
