A Chamber member has launched three new hybrid meeting solutions to combat some of the problems business people have encountered during the pandemic.

A widespread switch to remote working has led to issues such as muted mics, frozen computer screens and awkward silences during virtual or hybrid meetings.

But etc.venues say they have come up with three solutions to combat such problems.

The first is called ‘Room in a Box’ - a video conferencing solution which brings a small group together so they can collaborate easily even if some attendees can’t be in the room.

The second is an event platform - the result of a partnership with hybrid event software provider, Glisser.

It brings larger in-person and remote groups together through interactive polls, quizzes and social feeds.

The third, developed with Encore, is a purpose-built virtual stage that uses green screen technology to create an immersive experience for audiences.

Declan Cassidy (pictured), director of sales at etc.venues, said: “After speaking with a number of clients over the past 12-months, we realised that there’s a lot of dissatisfaction and confusion in this space so we made it our mission to ensure hybrid meetings are as easy as 1,2,3.”
