Switch Hospitality Management is pleased to announce a new partnership with West Midlands Metro to enhance Birmingham’s tourism and surrounding areas through providing travel discounts to guests and staff alike.
Switch Hospitality Management has a growing portfolio of hotels and serviced apartments in the Midlands, including Park Regis Birmingham, Nite Nite and its brand-new development in Snowhill, the Aparthotel Birmingham.
From November 2023, guests staying at any hotel within the Switch portfolio -including Park Regis Birmingham which is conveniently located near the Metro's Five Ways tram stop -will receive discounts of up to 10 percent on tram travel, allowing them to explore the city's attractions more affordably.
Reduced travel expenses for all
This special offer isn't limited to guests alone; hotel staff within the Switch portfolio will also benefit from reduced travel expenses when commuting to and from work.
Michael Reading Skilton, Metro’s Commercial Manager, commented: “This latest partnership offers a ‘win-win’ for all involved, with guests enjoying cost savings as they navigate around the region during their stay, potentially benefiting local businesses.
“At the same time, hotel employees will benefit from reduced travel costs, while Metro employees can also enjoy a discount on room bookings at Park Regis Birmingham and other hotels as part of the agreement with Switch Hospitality Management.
“Adding an attractive staff benefit for the Metro team as we encourage a positive work/life balance for all our colleagues.”
