About

Ikon is Birmingham's leading contemporary art gallery.

Located in a dramatic Victorian building - formerly a boarding school - Ikon presents a regular programme of exhibitions, events, learning workshops and seminars, representing some of the world's best visual artists. Don't miss the famous singing lift, designed by Turner Prize-winner Martin Creed. Ikon also houses Birmingham's only independent arts bookshop and Cafe, a relaxed setting for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.

Entrance to Ikon is free, advanced booking is essential. Book tickets and find full visiting guidelines at ikon-gallery.org.
