South Birmingham Sinfonia return to Shirley for their winter 2023 concert, with Soloist Charlotte Moseley, Music Director, Sabrina Ko, and Leader, James Hamilton.
Our 'Winter Romantics' programme opens with Shostakovich's fast, furious and joyful Festive Overture. Charlotte Moseley is the soloist in Tchaikovsky's virtuosic Violin Concerto. Rachmaninov once said stated that he composed to give expression to his emotions: his Symphony No. 2 is testimony to that, brooding, full of emotion and beautiful melodies.
This concert is in support of the Hospice Charity Partnership, Birmingham St Mary's Hospice and John Taylor Hospice.
From £2.00 to £11.00
