Hampton Manor

About

Once owned by Sir Robert Peel, Hampton Manor used to host the cream of British society, but today it’s better known for its acclaimed restaurant and distinctly unstuffy atmosphere.

It was Sir Robert’s son Frederick who transformed the house into the gothic showpiece it is today, complete with an ornate clock tower, walled garden and grand rooms fit for lavish entertaining. These historic features are now back to their best, but owners James and Fjona have also breathed new life into the 45-acre estate, sweeping away stiffness in favour of a more familial atmosphere. The fifteen individually designed rooms are now bright and welcoming, with period features mingled with bold colours and striking patterns. Michelin-starred restaurant Peel’s is cut from similar cloth, serving delectable British cuisine in a grand yet casual dining room, which also plays host to gin, wine and whisky tastings held around a communal table.

The Courtyard is a glass atrium set into historic stone walls once used for horse and carriages to turn. Flooded with natural light and is its own self-contained wing with a private outdoor terrace and bar. A versatile space for our corporate packages suited to informal gatherings for small teams or for dining up to 120 (or 152 with exclusive use).

The boardroom experience for up to 16 is delivered in the Manor’s original oak panelled library. A fully serviced board room environment with access to the impressive hotel public areas and facilities.

Manor Cottage is our relaxed retreat for meetings. With a boardroom table for 10 and ample casual spaces for breakout across the lounge, sun room, terrace and the breakfast room. Help yourself to snacks and drinks in the kitchen and the honesty bar or the wine wall in the lounge. A private chef can come and host you for an evening dinner or you can fire up our state-of-the art ceramic BBQ in your garden. Refreshingly close to nature with views onto our Victorian Walled Garden

Hampton-in-Arden Train station is a short stroll from the Manor and has regular trains to Birmingham International station (1 stop – 2 minutes) and Birmingham New Street (3 stops – 15 minutes) for Birmingham Airport, the LG Arena, Resorts World, the NEC, Grand Central, The NIA, The Bullring, The Mailbox and Birmingham’s vibrant dining scene. We are also ideally positioned for visiting Solihull, Stratford and Warwick.  A perfect location to explore Shakespeare’s Engla
