About

Visit the Museum for An Enchanted Christmas...

Santa and his elves are getting ready for the big day. The presents are being mined, the Christmas trees are being planted and the Sugarplum Fairies are busy making delicious treats. But mischief is afoot - the Rat King and his army are trying to ruin Christmas! Santa has called in the Nutcracker and his friends to keep the Rat King and his pesky partners at bay. Will you step into this magical world to help them save Christmas?

Experience the Museum transformed and...

Discover the work of Santa's elves at the Christmas gift mine.

Meet Holly and Ivy, the nature sprites of Christmas Tree Gardens, and help them to bring magic to their festive greenery.

Explore the sweet delights of Sugarplum City and meet our Sugarplum fairies - but watch out for Scrooge, and don't let him steal your humbugs!

Step in at Toy Terrace and help to revive the Nutcracker's broken soldiers. Witness the Nutcracker and the Rat King fight their festive battle down at the docks!

With fantastic costumed characters, dance and drama, this event is perfect for families (and those who consider themselves young at heart!) who are looking for a little magic this Christmas. Plus, you'll be able to enjoy the Museum at its festive best for longer as we'll be open until 8pm!
