Land Rover Experience Solihull is where the production of Land Rover’s world-famous vehicles began in 1948. Today, you can take a guided tour of the state-of-the-art production plant, and see its hi-tech robot army and skilled craftsmen bringing the latest Land Rover vehicles to life.

In addition to manufacturing tours, guests can get behind the wheel with a range of different off-road driving adventures. And, for organisations looking to offer employees or clients a unique experience, a corporate day can be hosted at the Solihull site.

Manufacturing tours
Choose from two unique manufacturing and production site tours that give you behind-the-scenes access into how Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, or Range Rover Velar and Jaguar F-PACE vehicles are brought to life by our family of robots and highly skilled team. You can also discover the The Range Rover Story which takes you back in time and shares how the Range Rover was developed, back in 1966, and has become the iconic vehicle it is today.

Driving experiences
With no previous experience required, you can choose from a one hour taster, half day, full day or Defender experience (either taster or half day), where you’ll discover the thrilling world of off-roading. Each driving experience is led by an expert instructor and will see you boost your skills, confidence and nerve, as you take on inclines, descents, and wade through water behind the wheel of a trusty Land Rover - pushing yourself and our vehicles to the limit.

VIP experiences
For those looking for a tailored, VIP experience, we offer a Land Rover VIP Manufacturing Tour which involves a personal guided tour of the site as well as a private view of the paint shop, an experience only offered to our most exclusive guests.

And, if you’re purchasing or ordering a Land Rover vehicle, we offer a range of experiences that you can enjoy such as the Land Rover Configuration Experience, a one-to-one session where you can bespoke your vehicle, the Land Rover Vehicle Viewing Tour where you can watch your vehicle being built, and the VIP Customer Range Rover. Collection that offers full VIP treatment from start to finish, fine food, exclusive access to privileged areas of the site, and ends with the eagerly anticipated reveal of your new vehicle.
