Come and join us for a tour of the Commonwealth Games venues by bike…
Approx. 13 miles, at a leisurely pace. Open for all abilities & bikes, some off-road, including canals and the segregated cycle routes, and some quieter city centre roads.
We'll start at Pride House on Bromsgrove Street, take in the Smithfield venue (Basketball & Beach Volleyball), Edgbaston Cricket Ground (T20 Cricket), the University (Hockey & Squash), a quick detour to Cadburys (chocolate!!) and then back into the city to a cycle café for a quick refuel. We'll make our way back to Pride House for live screenings of the B2022 Road Cycling, via the newly painted Gay Village Rainbow for a few photos.
All abilities welcome, it's a social ride so expect a leisurely pace with plenty of stopping, chatting etc. Just bring yourself, water, something waterproof (because its summer!), and possibly a rainbow or two…
