NCASS Congress 2019:

NCASS Congress looks to Shape the Future

NCASS has announced the theme for its first annual congress, taking place 12th February 2019. ‘Shaping the Future’ will be the overriding message from the event as the association looks to work with members to understand the key trends coming up over the next 12, 24 and 48 months. Most importantly however, the congress will look at how NCASS can proactively intervene, to ensure a more prosperous environment for members to do business.

The congress will feature a keynote opening from Adam Henson, Countryfile, which will address the themes of the day. There will also be a number of interactive Q&A and panel discussions where members can share their own predictions for the future, and how NCASS can help them prepare.

“There are a number of occasions over the last decade where NCASS has sought to intervene on everything from new legislation to changing consumer trends, and that has led to a more positive commercial environment for our members,” commented Alan Fox, Managing Director, NCASS. “This congress is about taking this work forward, alongside our members, and looking at what the future brings for us all, and how we can all shape it positively and proactively.”

Shaping the Future, the first NCASS Annual Congress takes place 12th February 2019, at The Bond, Digbeth, Birmingham B5.

Shaping the Future: What does it mean?

At NCASS our role is to understand the present, and look towards the future, on behalf of our members

The value we bring as an organisation is through our ability to proactively intervene in this future; and therefore, help to dictate it

This is about having a proactive association safeguarding our industry and our member’s business

Over the last few years we’ve demonstrated this in a number of different ways and continue to do so; this is what this congress is all about

This congress is the first of a series of forum’s we’ll be creating that will give members insight into the future, but also allow them input into the interventions we lead on in 2019

This is about empowering members, and giving them the chance to be a part of the industry’s future as well
