MAC at 60: A History of MAC in 60 Objects

About

From autumn 2022 we are proudly kicking off a celebratory season for our 60th anniversary. A History of MAC in 60 Objects is an exhibition about your personal experiences with Midlands Arts Centre and how it has contributed to the everyday lives of residents, artists, visitors, and former and current staff. 60 objects chosen from across the six decades of MAC's existence will be exhibited around public spaces in the venue.

If you have an object that tells a story about your connection to MAC, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for people to submit personal objects associated with MAC from 1962 to the present day. These objects can be anything that tells a story about you and MAC, from photographs to ceramics, tickets, pieces of music, posters, visual art, videos, documents, stories, or poems.
