About

This workshop will show you how to draw an historic, Lombardic capital letter and then decorate it with paint and 24c gold leaf. All materials will be supplied, and the workshop is suitable for the complete beginner as well as the more experienced. The aim is that you will go home with a 4"x 4" card complete with your decorated letter as well as enough information for you to create more in your own time at home. Our gift shop stocks a range of calligraphy products available for purchase on the day to take home with you. Lunch is not provided, however you may bring some lunch if you wish. Museum admission is not included * Discount available for later visit.
