The Electric Cinema is the oldest working cinema in the UK. First opened on December 27th 1909, it has undergone many changes from a classic News and cartoon theatre to the thriving independent cinema it is today.
At the Electric we offer much more than just watching a movie. Experience the latest independent and intelligent mainstream films in a relaxed, grown-up environment, with comfy sofas, waiter service and a venue that is licensed in the theatre!
