Our shows begin life in our Stratford workshops and theatres, where we design and build the sets, costumes and props, and rehearse and perform the plays in our three theatres: the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the Swan Theatre and the Studio Theatre at The Other Place.

Everyone in our company, from actors to armourers, musicians to technicians, the people serving your interval drinks to our ushers, play a part in creating the world you see on stage.

Wherever you experience the RSC, you experience work made in Shakespeare’s home town.
