Set in a 43-acre park Bantock House Museum, originally a Georgian farmhouse, is now restored to its former Edwardian glory.
Explore the former family home and discover stories about the Bantock family and other local Victorians who were influential in the development of Wolverhampton. See one of the country’s finest collections of Japanned ware displayed in a ‘Lady’s Bedroom’ together with exquisite examples of locally made enamels and steel jewellery.
Enjoy temporary exhibitions which cover a range of topics relating to local and social history. Outside, formal gardens, originally designed by Baldwin Bantock, have been reestablished and the restored courtyard buildings now provide accessible spaces for activities and events.
The delightful courtyard café serves a range of light meals and refreshments. Amenities in the park include a children’s playground and a nature trail.
