James Newman Jewellery
The beautiful bespoke jewellery that you can win at Square Meal by coming onto our stand was designed by James Newman.
What makes them different
All James Newman jewellery is designed and individually made in their Birmingham Jewellery Quarter workshop. They do not mass produce; all designs are original and all materials ethically sourced. In short, they control the process from start to finish.
New collections are introduced yearly, which are exhibited and sold in design led jewellers and galleries throughout the UK. In addition, one off and bespoke pieces are produced and are exclusively available in James’s Jewellery Quarter shop.
Ethical issues
Ethical issues are important to James Newman. They only use diamonds that are guaranteed conflict free by suppliers and wherever possible they will recycle their own metals. By making all their jewellery in the UK, they are able to minimise air miles, contribute to the local economy and help retain homegrown talent.
Hallmarking
As a mark of authenticity and a guarantee of quality, all James Newman jewellery is hallmarked in accordance with current legislation at Birmingham’s Assay Office. James Newman’s registered mark (JJN) can clearly be seen alongside both the anchor mark of the Birmingham Assay Office and a fineness mark, stating the standard and material of the item.
