Warwickshire Appoint Jamie Nevin to Lead the ‘Edgbaston Experience’

Edgbaston have handed the reins of promoting the new ‘Edgbaston Experience’ to new General Manager Jamie Nevin.
The Edgbaston Experience is one of Edgbaston’s latest ventures, which promotes match-day corporate hospitality through Compass’s Keith Prowse, and also promotes Edgbaston’s match-day, conference and banqueting services.
Jamie said: ‘For me, the Edgbaston Experience is about the coming together of lovers of cricket, clients, staff and the general public for cricket matchday and non-matchday hospitality, conferencing, events and exhibitions all under one roof. The highly professional Edgbaston Experience creates a fun and relaxed environment to ensure an outstanding experience to all our customers in a spectacular location.’
Such facilities will be improved as part of Edgbaston’s massive £32million redevelopment project – expected to be finished in time for the 3rd npower England v India Test Match – and will assist in projecting Edgbaston as one of the world’s leading Test and cricket venues.
Originally from Co. Clare, Ireland , Jamie is used to working in busy atmospheres, and has worked across the United Kingdom and Ireland on various events, conferences and exhibitions. He has worked in various positions, from part-owner and General Manager of a busy Country Hotel to Catering Manager at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
