Resorts World Birmingham launch new Meet@ business brand

Resorts World have expanded into the business market, with new meeting venues and private dining menus under new umbrella brand, Meet@ Resorts World.

Amongst Meet@’s venue portfolio, Apartment is a new meeting, event and private dining space situated on the First Floor, with an event and private dining menu curated by in-house renowned Birmingham chef, Andy Waters.

To showcase the unique meeting and event experience, Resorts World recently hosted an Open Day to officially launch the brand to regional businesses.

The High Line Late Lounge was also featured, as a new venue for larger conferences and private dinners in the building.

Additional new meeting venues are also located within Vortex Gaming and the Genting Hotel.

Resorts World’s Sales Manager, Dan Skermer, is delighted with the new brand launch and the positive reaction to it:

“As Birmingham continues its exciting period of growth, we’re really excited that our location is right at the heart of some of the most significant development in what is known as the UK Central Hub including, of course, HS2.

We’re delighted to now be able to offer both regional and national businesses a great central place to meet, with all kinds of venues to discover, both for business and leisure. The feedback I have received since the Open Day has been really positive about our expanded offer.”

Dawn Kavanagh, PA to COO Global Transmission at National Grid NGV, Jon Butterworth, said:

“I was absolutely bowled over by what they had to offer, a stunning venue in a superb location, a ‘one stop shop’ offering outstanding catering and venues to cater for everything, located in a perfect position for transport links. I’m looking forward to working with them to hold our future events.”

Resorts World’s Open Day was hosted collaboratively with colleagues from Merlin’s Bear Grylls Adventure opening later in the year at the NEC campus and the VOX Conference Centre, situated on the Second Floor of Resorts World.
