Birmingham is serviced by all of the UK’s leading rail network operators, including Chiltern Railways, London Midland, Virgin Trains and CrossCountry.

Birmingham New Street Station lies in the heart of the city and is the hub of the UK rail network, serving over 25 million passengers per year. Its importance is recognised by an ambitious redevelopment plan with a total spend of £388 million. New Street Station offers regular services to and from every major UK destination, bringing the whole country within easy reach.

Chiltern Trains leave London Marylebone and pull into Birmingham Moor Street and Snow Hill stations just 100 minutes later.

With Virgin Trains, London Euston is less than 90 minutes away. CrossCountry, the UK’s most extensive network, and London Midland add even more options.

Next to Birmingham Airport, Birmingham International Railway Station serves both the National Exhibition Centre and the airport, with direct links to both and 250 departures a day, taking 9 minutes and leaving every 10 minutes.
