Centre for Professional Development

Situated in the heart of the prestigious College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham, the Centre for Professional Development (CPD) is a spacious modern venue offering a great environment for learning and training. The centre has dedicated staff, excellent audio-visual equipment and a large choice of rooms and layouts.

The CPD houses an 85 seat forum theatre, two lecture theatres, Boardroom for 22 and two 10 seat breakout rooms and a catering/lounge area, making it ideal for seminars, day conferences, meetings and short courses. A computer room is available for delegates and speakers to access emails/ internet, along with daily newspapers, wireless internet and Freeview TV in social area.

Wolfson Centre

Housing the spectacular 450 seat Leonard Deacon Lecture Theatre, plenty of exhibition space and excellent audio-visual equipment, the Wolfson Centre has the capacity to host large academic or professional events.

Wolfson Centre available at weekends or outside of term time only.
